This view, looking west, is of the French-built structures at the ARVN bootcamp in Ben Cui. Also, the precarious looking cement water tower can be seen. We lived in the house with the white roof for about 2 weeks. It seemed quite plush after living in bunkers at FSB's for months at a time. (September, 1969) [back]
